The word ‘Tomorrow’ means the following day. In other words, it means the near future. We often associate the future with our dreams and ideals. These images are at essence, extensions of our personal notions of utopia.
This project maps out my personal search for Utopia. I began by selecting twenty-seven quotes related to utopia from philosopher and politicians and then extracted forty-eight keywords from these quotes. Then, I used Google to find images related to these keywords. At a very high level, these images can, so to speak, be understood as representing the general intellectual, moral, and cultural understanding of utopia while simultaneously capturingthe ambiguity and many-sided phenomena of utopian as it is imagined tomorrow.
